FiddleFest Returns in 2026 for a Day of Music, Dance, and Fun
Get ready to kick off the New Year with an unforgettable celebration of bluegrass, old-time stringband, and Americana music. FiddleFest 2026 will take place on Saturday, January 3rd from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sawmill Saloon in Seeley, Wisconsin. This annual event, presented by WOJB Radio, Superior Tech Services, and Northwest Wisconsin’s TrueGrass Band, promises a full day of live performances, old-time dances (with dances taught and called), and jam sessions in the heart of the north woods. FiddleFest 2026 features a fiddler’s feast of a lineup, with Annie & The Oakleys, Rosie Daze, Scott & Christina McLewin, Blu Kanu, Kim Ritchie & Squirrel Cage, The Fifth String, The Northwoods Strings, plus special guest dance callers Wade Pearson and Allison Jonjak, and of course TrueGrass. WOJB Radio’s Jeff Jones will serve as the event’s Master of Ceremonies, and theater sound will be provided by Superior Tech Services. A Full Day of Music and Fun Three performance areas will operate throughout the day. There will be stage performances in the Sawmill Theater, old-time dances (with dances taught and called) in the upstairs dance hall, and intimate acoustic concerts in the coffee shop. In addition to the performances, there will be informal jam sessions in various locations, plus food and drink specials in the Sawmill Saloon restaurant. It will be a fiddler’s feast of fun with a full day of bluegrass, old-time stringband, and Americana music and dance on the menu. Northwest Wisconsin’s TrueGrass Band is teaming up with WOJB Radio and Superior Tech Services to bring FiddleFest 2025 to the Sawmill Saloon in Seeley, Wisconsin, from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Saturday April 5th. In this edition of what has become an annual event, WOJB Radio MC Jeff Jones will host The TrueGrass Four, Annie & The Oakleys, The Old 13 String Bandits, Four Mile Portage, Kim Ritchie & Squirrel Cage, The Northwoods Strings, plus special guest dance callers Wade Pearson and Tom Maloney, guitarist Stan Nosbush and WOJB Radio Host Jeff Jones as our Master of Ceremonies.
There will be seven hours of stage performances in the Sawmill Theater with sound provided by Superior Tech Services. The upstairs dance hall will feature old-time dances with all the dances taught and called. The Moose Lips coffee shop will host intimate acoustic concerts. And you can bring your instrument and join in the informal jam sessions in the lobby while you enjoy the food and beverage specials from the restaurant.
