FiddleFest is back! Fiddle Fest is back! This will be a fiddler’s feast of fun, served up with bluegrass, old-time stringband, and Americana music on the menu on Saturday April 2nd from 2pm to 9pm at The Sawmill Saloon in Seeley WI. The TrueGrass Trio will host Molly & The Danger Band, Annie & The Oakleys, and Four Mile Portage. Plus special guests Allison Jonjak and Kyle Ollah. Three staging areas will feature stage shows, old-time dances (with caller), and workshops. Bring your instrument to join in the open jam sessions. Plus food and beverage specials are all expected to be part of this all day and evening event at the Sawmill Saloon in Seeley WI (13505 N U.S. Highway 63). $10 adult admission (students 1/2 price, kids free).

Concerts at the Shell Lake Arts Center are back! The second event in their new performance series at the Erika Quam Memorial Theatre, called Concerts with Erika, will feature The TrueGrass Trio.
On Saturday February 5, 2022, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Erika Quam Center (605 First St, Shell Lake, WI 54871) The TrueGrass Trio will take a traditional music recipe, add a pinch of influence from rock, blues, jazz, gospel, Irish, and Celtic, spice it with experienced showmanship, and cook up a steady diet of fun on and off stage. All natives of Wisconsin and veterans of the Lake Superior Big Top Chautauqua, The TrueGrass Trio features Tom Draughon (guitar, fiddle & vocals) from Ashland, Bruce Qualey (bass & vocals) from Cable, and Jed Malischke (banjo, resophonic guitar & vocals) from Spooner. The TrueGrass Trio will be the featured music at the new Clam Lake Elk Fest in Clam Lake, Wisconsin, on Saturday September 25th from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Preceding the Trio will be the The Wild Thymers from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. There will also be a car show, vendor booths and exhibits, ATV tours, Elk walking tours, DNR Elk education talks, and great food. “Cabana BBQ Wednesdays” are back at The Sawmill Saloon in Seeley this summer, and The TrueGrass Trio will be performing for the first of this weekly event on Aug 4 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. It will all be outdoors: on the back deck next to the cabana bar, in the backyard next to the barbecue chicken and burgers on the grille, and on the outdoor stage overlooking the rustic, woodsy setting. We are extremely excited to be added to the 2021 lineup for the Minnesota Bluegrass August Festival on August 5-8 at El Rancho Manana near St Cloud. This is the premier bluegrass festival in the Upper Midwest, nominated five times as the IBMA Event of the Year. It’s a four day event featuring some of the nation’s most noted bluegrass bands and musicians with stage shows, workshops, dances, jam sessions, and more.
